Students accessing WRI’s legal services are peer supported to add their voices in public dialogues, and become informed organizers. A joint Economic Justice Project with CUNY Law School trains law students for advocacy on behalf of students whose education is threatened by workfare. To date, the program has provided legal advisement to ensure continuous matriculation for over 4,000 students.
